Underwater photos from some of Pinewood Studios' most famous films are to go on display for the first time this month and Reef One aquariums are to star alongside them. biOrb's, aways a smash hit with Films Stars, are being displayed along side some of the finest underwater photographs taken at Pinewood studio’s.

biOrb Aquariums at London Movieum

Pinewood Studios, where some of the most successful films and television shows of the last 70 years have been filmed, is displaying an exclusive collection of underwater photographs taken at the studio’s own 1.2 million litre underwater stage. The show is being supported by Reef One who are providing a collection of their award-winning fish tanks, Baby biOrb’s and biOrb LIFE aquariums to feature along side the stunning underwater imagery.

The photographs, by diver and photographer Phoebe Rudomino, offer a rare glimpse into the workings of the studio's world famous underwater stage. The exhibition, at the Movieum in London, is made up of breathtaking images of underwater shoots for film, TV, commercials and pop videos, celebrating Britain’s creativity. Jared Leto, Sharon Stone, Matt Lucas and James Blunt are amongst the stars captured performing underwater, alongside sets from Casino Royale, The Da Vinci Code and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Baby biOrb Aquariums Featuring In Exhibition

Reef One was approached by Pinewood studios to display its aquariums alongside the photography, and marketing manager Tom Crosswell said they are honoured to be working with Pinewood on such an exciting exhibition; “The exhibition showcases the imagination and ingenuity involved in producing many  breathtaking famous underwater scenes. We’re sure that placing biOrb aquariums amongst the displays will compliment the exhibition and help to bring the underwater feeling to life even further.”

The private viewing and silent auction took place on the 30th September with proceeds going to WaterAid and First Light. Both charities were inviting support for the event from their celebrity representatives including Daniel Craig, Kate Beckinsale, Sienna Miller, Orlando Bloom, Joseph Fiennes, Danny Boyle, Keira Knightley and Joanna Lumley.

The show is running for 4 weeks from the 1st October 2009 at the Movieum of London, County Hall.
