The cleaner pump allows easy removal of solid waste and water by sucking water out from the lowest point. It is important to remove solid waste as an accumulation can create high levels of pollutants and an unsightly aquarium.

Squeeze 3-4 times to start a siphon
 

INSTRUCTIONS

1 Remove filter cartridge.

2 Place cleaner pump into the aquarium as shown in diagram.

3 Place the other end in a bucket.

4 Squeeze 3-4 times to start a siphon.

5 Agitate ceramic media.

6 Empty 1/3rd of the water as per Service Kit instructions.
