STEP ONE
Wipe the inside of the biOrb to remove any algae growth that may have
occurred.
Use the rough side for stubborn marks only.
STEP TWO
Mix the chemical from the sachet of Water Treatment into 10 litres
of tap water. Allow water to stabilize for at least 1 hour, preferably
24 hours.
STEP THREE
Turn off air pump. Gently twist in direction of
arrow and lift away filter from fixed base unit of biOrb.
STEP FOUR
Siphon 1/3rd of the water from the biOrb. Agitating the rocks
will help loosen any trapped dirt. Place siphon tube into filter recess
and suck through the holes. Removing the solid waste will help prevent
nitrate and phosphate build up.
STEP FIVE
Gently twist in direction of arrow and lift away bubble tube from old
filter cartridge.
STEP SIX
Offer up new filter cartridge to bubble tube and twist in direction of
arrow ensuring all four cartridge tabs are fully locked.
STEP SEVEN
Making sure there are no fish in the way, secure
new filter cartridge back into base unit.
STEP EIGHT
Slowly top up with the water prepared in step 2.
Turn on air pump. Allow water to stabilize for 1 hour then
add chemicals from Stress Zyme sachet.
