How often should I change the filter?

Maintenance of a freshwater biOrb (Goldfish and Tropical Fish)


Changing the filter cartridge and replacing the water is an important part of keeping a healthy aquarium. Due to the advanced filtration system in the biOrb maintenance is reduced, however the mechanical sponge filter in the cartridge will become saturated with the waste produced by the fish and over time the natural resins and water stabilizers in the filter cartridge become depleted.

Maintenance should be completed following the table below.
