How much Cured Live Rock should I use?
The use of real 'Cured Live Rock' is optional as the ceramic media supplied is a highly effective biological filtration. Adding real Live Rock to the system will often introduce a fascinating assortment of marine creatures and beneficial bacteria that can make your aquarium even more interesting. If you add real Live Rock to your aquarium you won't need a large quantity because the supplied ceramic media is extremely effective (your aquarium will not require any more than 3kg of 'Cured Live Rock').
