Do I need a powerhead?
Powerheads are sealed electrical motors which can be submerged to pump water around an aquarium. The benefits of using a powerhead include increased oxygenation and increased water flow. Our filtration system already oxygenates the water to the maximum level and the water flow is ideal for a fish only marine aquarium.Powerheads are recommended when keeping Reef Coral aquariums, however we advise keeping biOrb's as a fish only aquarium.
