Will Clownfish breed in a biOrb
Paired Clownfish in an aquaria will often go through a courtship ritual, which will appear to be a twitching movement (often underneath an overhang), this can sometimes look like aggressive behaviour but is natural and nothing which should be cause for concern. Very rarely will clownfish then go on to produce eggs and if this does happen then it is unlikely in many situations they will be successfully fertilised. If on the rare instance this happens then clownfish fry and extremely difficult to raise and need specialist food and a dedicated fry aquaria. In terms of maintenance there isn’t anything special which needs to be done as unfertilised eggs will often be eaten by the parent fish or cleanup crew.
